Our newly designed Beam Type A model can now be operated with live steam by using our optional Steam Plant. Alternatively, the model can also be powered by compressed air at a pressure of less than 2psi.

You now have the option to purchase the Engine and Steam Plant separately, giving you more flexibility in your model building. The parts for the Beam A are ready-made, eliminating the need for drilling, cutting, threading, shaping, or soldering.

To assemble the model, you will only require a few basic tools such as a screwdriver, pliers, and a small hand drill (or pin vice) to drill pilot holes in the wood plinth. Additionally, some super glue will be needed to join the parts together.

To ensure that the engine runs smoothly, you may need to use some fine emery cloth, a small file to remove any rough edges, and a couple of small drill bits to clean up any holes that need adjustment.
